Leofoto DC-404C center column for LN-404C and Summit LM-4 series

The Leofoto DC-404C carbon center column is designed for those who need additional capabilities when using their Mountain LN-404C or Summit carbon tripod. With the DC-404C you can increase the maximum working height by 42.5 centimeters if desired. The center column is 32mm thick and made of 10 layers of cross-woven, reinforced carbon fiber and CNC milled aluminum components and weighs only 510 grams. A 3/8-inch tripod screw is provided on the top plate to attach a professional tripod head.

Smoothly and quickly adjustable center column

The convenient butterfly nut on the tripod plate allows the DC-404C center column to be adjusted smoothly and quickly, even with gloves on. In addition, the center column can be turned around for photo work low to the ground. So you can get very close to your subject for macro photography, for example. A carbon center column can absorb vibrations perfectly, but due to its relatively low weight, a counterweight is often necessary for stable work. Therefore, Leofoto has added a detachable hook at the bottom of the DC-404C center column. You can hang a camera bag from this, but also a bag of stones, for example.

Leofoto Summit carbon tripods

The tripods in the Leofoto Summit Series are distinguished by their tremendous stability and light weight. They have a wide, removable tripod plate and no center column, which minimizes vibration and makes them very sturdy. In addition, they all come with half-bowl, making them suitable for mounting a video head as well. Optionally, a center column is available to increase the maximum working height. On the sides and bottom of the tripod plate are UNC 3/8 screw holes to which a magic arm or smartphone can be attached. At the top of the plate is a level.
