Coming to combo , its very stable and easy to balance my 5D M4 and 500 MM F4 IS2 combo. The supplied plate PL 100 is a bit short in my opinion & one might need a bigger lens plate or a QR lens foot. Buying it from Gaffarbhaiandsons was one of the best buying experience online. Surprisingly it was cheaper than any of the online markets. All my pre buying queries were replied and responded instantaneously. The lens was sent wrapped in two layers of Styrofoam and cardboard boxes which is quite reassuring.
