Coming to combo , its very stable and easy to balance my 5D M4 and 500 MM F4 IS2 combo. The supplied plate PL 100 is a bit short in my opinion & one might need a bigger lens plate or a QR lens foot. Buying it from Gaffarbhaiandsons was one of the best buying experience online. Surprisingly it was cheaper than any of the online markets. All my pre buying queries were replied and responded instantaneously. The lens was sent wrapped in two layers of Styrofoam and cardboard boxes which is quite reassuring. ordering and processing was fast and I got the item delivered with in 3 days. the team has packaged it well and so there are absolutely no damages to the the actual box or the item itself. thank you!
the lens is compact and comes in two parts. a plastic mount with spring loaded locks and a screw on lens which attaches to the pvc mount. the construction and the feel of both the elements is very good. I intend to use this with my tamron 90mm macro lens. the lens size is a match to the tamron one and so there are no vignetting.

I am happy with the purchase and will definitely recommend the site to my friends.
