Coming to combo , its very stable and easy to balance my 5D M4 and 500 MM F4 IS2 combo. The supplied plate PL 100 is a bit short in my opinion & one might need a bigger lens plate or a QR lens foot. At 53.3 inches with the central pole retracted it is quite tall and one does not have to crounch. Quater inch twist lock mechanism makes it really fast to assemble the legs.
