It is robust and does not wobble even when stretched to its full length.... read more The extension locks are sturdy (it could be improved to have a flip lock). I am 5 ft 9 inched tall and felt very comfortable in handling a Nikon D750 with battery grip + Nikkor D500 pf lens on it.

Finally I made the decision to proceed this model. Coming to the package I worried how it will be delivered from Mumbai to Gangavathi (Near Hampi), surprisingly product was packaged with foam padding with multiple outer layer protected the box and product. I got this lens for my D500 and I am pleased to say it more... read more than exceeded my expectations. The autofocus is not very fast but it does autofocus decently accurately when shooting outdoors. Indoors I found I had to switch to manual focus but the focus ring is very smooth and allows for very small adjustments. It does great for portraits, and you can really get close with the macro, and very good bokeh. Overall it is a great lens!
