Coming to combo , its very stable and easy to balance my 5D M4 and 500 MM F4 IS2 combo. The supplied plate PL 100 is a bit short in my opinion & one might need a bigger lens plate or a QR lens foot. With mirrorless cameras in vogue, I was looking for a pro with ergonomically well designed, stable and lighter tripod to move around. I find S2 a perfect fit, easy to carry, seconds to setup and fold up. I use it with my GH5 Lumix Panasonic.
