This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. All the major websites /shops were saying this wont be available in next 2/3 months and i need this within 2 weeks before my next photography trip. Coming to the bag the 36 ltr variant is perfect combination of camera gear storage and your daily essential for 2-3 days pack. You can comfortably carry 2 pro DSLR/mirrorless and 2 big telephoto lenses or multiple small lenses.
even after that you have space to carry other accessories, tripod, a 15 inch laptop & a full sized iPad.
Overall i am happy with the purchase, would recommend for wildlife photographers.
