All my pre buying queries were replied and responded instantaneously. The lens was sent wrapped in two layers of Styrofoam and cardboard boxes which is quite reassuring. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate.
