Buying it from Gaffarbhaiandsons was one of the best buying experience online. Surprisingly it was cheaper than any of the online markets. All my pre buying queries were replied and responded instantaneously. The lens was sent wrapped in two layers of Styrofoam and cardboard boxes which is quite reassuring. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. Coming to the bag the 36 ltr variant is perfect combination of camera gear storage and your daily essential for 2-3 days pack. You can comfortably carry 2 pro DSLR/mirrorless and 2 big telephoto lenses or multiple small lenses.

The autofocus is not very fast but it does autofocus decently accurately when shooting outdoors. Indoors I found I had to switch to manual focus but the focus ring is very smooth and allows for very small adjustments. It does great for portraits, and you can really get close with the macro, and very good bokeh. Overall it is a great lens!
