I got this lens for my D500 and I am pleased to say it more... read more than exceeded my expectations. The autofocus is not very fast but it does autofocus decently accurately when shooting outdoors. Indoors I found I had to switch to manual focus but the focus ring is very smooth and allows for very small adjustments. It does great for portraits, and you can really get close with the macro, and very good bokeh. Overall it is a great lens!

Obviously you won't take the risk when you are out on field. Overall a great product

July 16, 2022 Recently got my Viltrox AF 85mm f/1.8 Lens. I was a little apprehensive buying a third party lens. But the... read more lens turns out to be a performer. Very sharp from centre to edges. No vignetting and colour fringing. All this at half the price of Nikon counterpart.
Buying it from Gaffarbhaiandsons was one of the best buying experience online. Surprisingly it was cheaper than any of the online markets. All my pre buying queries were replied and responded instantaneously. The lens was sent wrapped in two layers of Styrofoam and cardboard boxes which is quite reassuring. I have no apprehension about buying from Gaffarbhaiandsons again which i will be doing very often. I must thank Sameer Bhai all his help and information.
