This grip has been a life-saver on the job. I pack it with Panasonic's Eneloop rechargeable batteries (also highly recommended) and combined with the battery in the D500 the battery life with this grip lasted me a solid 9 hours (roughly 1500-2000 snaps). I even had some battery left at the end of the night.

If you're going to be using the D500 for any period of time longer than 3 hours at a time, I highly suggest you grab this battery grip. It also has the plus side of making the camera more stable in-hand.

I received the tripod on Monday afternoon in perfect condition. I am very happy with the unit. It feels solidly built and is quite light at the same time! I bought it mainly to use with a Sony a6400 but by Canon 70 with a 24-105 also feels rock steady on this! The quick release plate took me some getting used to. Overall, very happy with the purchase. <br... read more /> Product review: Benro VT2 Locking Base is quiet sturdy. Tested with a setup of Nikon D750 + Nikkor 500 mm 5.6 PF + Benro MSD 46C monopod + Benro GH2 gimbal head. If placed on a flat surface you need not even hand hold the setup (slight wobbling is there)
Obviously you won't take the risk when you are out on field. Overall a great product
