At 53.3 inches with the central pole retracted it is quite tall and one does not have to crounch. Quater inch twist lock mechanism makes it really fast to assemble the legs. Lastly but not the least the item was delivered in a very well padded and protective box which is very thoughtful of you. I had a really nice experience. October 24, 2020 Finally settled on this monopod after some internet 'research'. While the MSDPL46C is more expensive than some other monopods, you... read more ultimately get what you pay for. Build quality is great and it can easily handle a telephoto lens. The leveling pan head is a nice feature on a monopod. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. Overall, happy with the quality of this product. As usual, no problems while dealing with the team at Gaffarbhai and Sons. A+++!
