At 53.3 inches with the central pole retracted it is quite tall and one does not have to crounch. Quater inch twist lock mechanism makes it really fast to assemble the legs. Lastly but not the least the item was delivered in a very well padded and protective box which is very thoughtful of you. I had a really nice experience. With mirrorless cameras in vogue, I was looking for a pro with ergonomically well designed, stable and lighter tripod to move around. I find S2 a perfect fit, easy to carry, seconds to setup and fold up. I use it with my GH5 Lumix Panasonic.
