Finally settled on this monopod after some internet 'research'. While the MSDPL46C is more expensive than some other monopods, you... read more ultimately get what you pay for. Build quality is great and it can easily handle a telephoto lens. The leveling pan head is a nice feature on a monopod. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. At 53.3 inches with the central pole retracted it is quite tall and one does not have to crounch. Quater inch twist lock mechanism makes it really fast to assemble the legs. Lastly but not the least the item was delivered in a very well padded and protective box which is very thoughtful of you. I had a really nice experience. July 16, 2021 I have used several pro tripods in my career spanning over 33 years. I still own S8 Benro tripod... read more for heavier payload. With mirrorless cameras in vogue, I was looking for a pro with ergonomically well designed, stable and lighter tripod to move around. I find S2 a perfect fit, easy to carry, seconds to setup and fold up. I use it with my GH5 Lumix Panasonic.
