Coming to the package I worried how it will be delivered from Mumbai to Gangavathi (Near Hampi), surprisingly product was packaged with foam padding with multiple outer layer protected the box and product. I've been using mine to sling a Nikon D500 + battery grip + nikkor 200-500 zoom lens on all-day hikes and walks. Attached to the tripod ring on the lens, the sling allows me to carry the combo at my hip, lens facing backwards with the camera body inverted where my hand falls perfectly to grab the grip and bring the camera/lens up to shooting position. It works equally well with a standard lens on the camera. The quick-adjusting travel limiters on the strap allow me to quickly "trap" the camera right at my hip when bending over, climbing up or over something or whenever I just don't want the camera moving around. I wish I'd bought one years ago.

Build quality is great and it can easily handle a telephoto lens. The leveling pan head is a nice feature on a monopod. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. Overall, happy with the quality of this product. As usual, no problems while dealing with the team at Gaffarbhai and Sons. A+++!

Buying it from Gaffarbhaiandsons was one of the best buying experience online. Surprisingly it was cheaper than any of the online markets. All my pre buying queries were replied and responded instantaneously. The lens was sent wrapped in two layers of Styrofoam and cardboard boxes which is quite reassuring. <br... read more /> Product review: Benro VT2 Locking Base is quiet sturdy. Tested with a setup of Nikon D750 + Nikkor 500 mm 5.6 PF + Benro MSD 46C monopod + Benro GH2 gimbal head. If placed on a flat surface you need not even hand hold the setup (slight wobbling is there)
Obviously you won't take the risk when you are out on field. Overall a great product
