Build quality is great and it can easily handle a telephoto lens. The leveling pan head is a nice feature on a monopod. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. At 53.3 inches with the central pole retracted it is quite tall and one does not have to crounch. Quater inch twist lock mechanism makes it really fast to assemble the legs. The only drawback is there is space lost due to the curved shape of the corners at the bottom of the bag.. Otherwise a brilliant addition especially for the price it's currently being sold for.
