I received the tripod on Monday afternoon in perfect condition. I am very happy with the unit. It feels solidly built and is quite light at the same time! I bought it mainly to use with a Sony a6400 but by Canon 70 with a 24-105 also feels rock steady on this! The quick release plate took me some getting used to. Overall, very happy with the purchase. This strap just works. It makes all-day carry of a heavy DSLR... read more body and large telephoto lens enjoyable instead of a form of medieval torture. I've been using mine to sling a Nikon D500 + battery grip + nikkor 200-500 zoom lens on all-day hikes and walks. Attached to the tripod ring on the lens, the sling allows me to carry the combo at my hip, lens facing backwards with the camera body inverted where my hand falls perfectly to grab the grip and bring the camera/lens up to shooting position. It works equally well with a standard lens on the camera. The quick-adjusting travel limiters on the strap allow me to quickly "trap" the camera right at my hip when bending over, climbing up or over something or whenever I just don't want the camera moving around. I wish I'd bought one years ago.
