This strap just works. It makes all-day carry of a heavy DSLR... read more body and large telephoto lens enjoyable instead of a form of medieval torture. I've been using mine to sling a Nikon D500 + battery grip + nikkor 200-500 zoom lens on all-day hikes and walks. Attached to the tripod ring on the lens, the sling allows me to carry the combo at my hip, lens facing backwards with the camera body inverted where my hand falls perfectly to grab the grip and bring the camera/lens up to shooting position. It works equally well with a standard lens on the camera. The quick-adjusting travel limiters on the strap allow me to quickly "trap" the camera right at my hip when bending over, climbing up or over something or whenever I just don't want the camera moving around. I wish I'd bought one years ago.

Obviously you won't take the risk when you are out on field. Overall a great product

Build quality is great and it can easily handle a telephoto lens. The leveling pan head is a nice feature on a monopod. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. At 53.3 inches with the central pole retracted it is quite tall and one does not have to crounch. Quater inch twist lock mechanism makes it really fast to assemble the legs. Lastly but not the least the item was delivered in a very well padded and protective box which is very thoughtful of you. I had a really nice experience. It arrived in pristine condition and I have been using it regularly for my camera lens that include Canon 100-400 and other assorted lenses. I find it fully meets my requirements for keeping the lenses in good condition in the high humid weather in the place I stay. I want to thank Sameer Bhai for the excellent technical support in suggesting the right size of the Dry Cabinet and the prompt arrangement for sending the equipment packed very safely.
