Buying it from Gaffarbhaiandsons was one of the best buying experience online. Surprisingly it was cheaper than any of the online markets. All my pre buying queries were replied and responded instantaneously. The lens was sent wrapped in two layers of Styrofoam and cardboard boxes which is quite reassuring. I have no apprehension about buying from Gaffarbhaiandsons again which i will be doing very often. I must thank Sameer Bhai all his help and information.

At 53.3 inches with the central pole retracted it is quite tall and one does not have to crounch. Quater inch twist lock mechanism makes it really fast to assemble the legs. I've been using mine to sling a Nikon D500 + battery grip + nikkor 200-500 zoom lens on all-day hikes and walks. Attached to the tripod ring on the lens, the sling allows me to carry the combo at my hip, lens facing backwards with the camera body inverted where my hand falls perfectly to grab the grip and bring the camera/lens up to shooting position. It works equally well with a standard lens on the camera. The quick-adjusting travel limiters on the strap allow me to quickly "trap" the camera right at my hip when bending over, climbing up or over something or whenever I just don't want the camera moving around. I wish I'd bought one years ago.

All this happened in about one hour from payment. I was very pleasantly surprised with the speed and efficiency at which things were progressing! I received the tripod on Monday afternoon in perfect condition. I am very happy with the unit. It feels solidly built and is quite light at the same time! I bought it mainly to use with a Sony a6400 but by Canon 70 with a 24-105 also feels rock steady on this! The quick release plate took me some getting used to. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Kudos to Mr. Sameer. And best part was it was cheaper and faster than buying on Amazon!

This grip has been a life-saver on the job. I pack it with Panasonic's Eneloop rechargeable batteries (also highly recommended) and combined with the battery in the D500 the battery life with this grip lasted me a solid 9 hours (roughly 1500-2000 snaps). I even had some battery left at the end of the night.

If you're going to be using the D500 for any period of time longer than 3 hours at a time, I highly suggest you grab this battery grip. It also has the plus side of making the camera more stable in-hand.

The autofocus is not very fast but it does autofocus decently accurately when shooting outdoors. Indoors I found I had to switch to manual focus but the focus ring is very smooth and allows for very small adjustments. It does great for portraits, and you can really get close with the macro, and very good bokeh. Overall it is a great lens!

ordering and processing was fast and I got the item delivered with in 3 days. the team has packaged it well and so there are absolutely no damages to the the actual box or the item itself. thank you!
the lens is compact and comes in two parts. a plastic mount with spring loaded locks and a screw on lens which attaches to the pvc mount. the construction and the feel of both the elements is very good. I intend to use this with my tamron 90mm macro lens. the lens size is a match to the tamron one and so there are no vignetting.

I am happy with the purchase and will definitely recommend the site to my friends.
