At 53.3 inches with the central pole retracted it is quite tall and one does not have to crounch. Quater inch twist lock mechanism makes it really fast to assemble the legs. Build quality is great and it can easily handle a telephoto lens. The leveling pan head is a nice feature on a monopod. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. <br... read more /> Product review: Benro VT2 Locking Base is quiet sturdy. Tested with a setup of Nikon D750 + Nikkor 500 mm 5.6 PF + Benro MSD 46C monopod + Benro GH2 gimbal head. If placed on a flat surface you need not even hand hold the setup (slight wobbling is there)
Obviously you won't take the risk when you are out on field. Overall a great product
