Build quality is great and it can easily handle a telephoto lens. The leveling pan head is a nice feature on a monopod. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. I bought it mainly to use with a Sony a6400 but by Canon 70 with a 24-105 also feels rock steady on this! The quick release plate took me some getting used to. Overall, very happy with the purchase. <br... read more /> Product review: Benro VT2 Locking Base is quiet sturdy. Tested with a setup of Nikon D750 + Nikkor 500 mm 5.6 PF + Benro MSD 46C monopod + Benro GH2 gimbal head. If placed on a flat surface you need not even hand hold the setup (slight wobbling is there)
Obviously you won't take the risk when you are out on field. Overall a great product
