The Hoya Variable Density II ND Filter (82mm, 1.5 to 9-Stop) is a versatile photography filter designed to give photographers and videographers precise control over the amount of light entering the camera lens. Offering adjustable light reduction from 1.5 to 9 stops, this variable neutral density filter helps achieve the desired exposure in bright lighting conditions without changing the aperture or shutter speed settings beyond creative requirements.
Ideal for landscape photography, outdoor portraits, travel photography, and video recording, the filter allows photographers to use wider apertures for shallow depth of field and slower shutter speeds for smooth motion effects. Its rotating adjustment mechanism enables convenient control over light reduction, making it suitable for changing lighting conditions during outdoor shoots.
The 82mm filter size is compatible with lenses featuring an 82mm filter thread. The Hoya Variable Density II ND Filter is a practical accessory for photographers and filmmakers seeking greater exposure flexibility and creative control over their images and videos.
