Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2x Ultra Macro APO Lens / Nikon Z

The Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2X Ultra Macro APO is a compact full-frame macro lens designed for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras. Its standout feature is 2:1 magnification, allowing subjects to be reproduced at up to twice their actual size on the camera sensor—ideal for capturing extremely fine details in insects, flowers, jewellery, textures and other small subjects.

The lens uses an apochromatic (APO) optical design with three ED elements to minimise chromatic aberration and deliver high-contrast, detailed images. It also features internal focusing, manual focus operation and a compact aluminium construction, making it particularly suitable for field macro photography. (Laowa)

With an 85mm focal length, the lens can also be used for portraiture and general close-up photography, with focusing available from 2:1 macro magnification through to infinity.
