Nikon MB-D17 Multi Power Battery Pack for Nikon D500
I love this battery pack on my NIKON D500. It gives me twice the battery life while on a shoot- as well as giving you a nice firm grip when shooting vertically. Makes the camera feel more solid.
This grip has been a life-saver on the job. I pack it with Panasonic’s Eneloop rechargeable batteries (also highly recommended) and combined with the battery in the D500 the battery life with this grip lasted me a solid 9 hours (roughly 1500-2000 snaps). I even had some battery left at the end of the night.
If you’re going to be using the D500 for any period of time longer than 3 hours at a time, I highly suggest you grab this battery grip. It also has the plus side of making the camera more stable in-hand.
