Build quality is great and it can easily handle a telephoto lens. The leveling pan head is a nice feature on a monopod. This in-built pan head could be a little stiff when brand new, especially in cold temperatures but with a little use it should become smooth to rotate. All this happened in about one hour from payment. I was very pleasantly surprised with the speed and efficiency at which things were progressing! I received the tripod on Monday afternoon in perfect condition. I am very happy with the unit. It feels solidly built and is quite light at the same time!
